School of Management, KIIT University (KSOM) has a long history of academic excellence, providing industry-focused management education. It was founded in 1993 as Institute of Business Administration and Training (IBAT) with a vision to make it a trend setting centre for business education, where young minds are provided the right balance of classroom learning and practical exposure to turn into successful professionals and inspiring leaders. Today, as part of the prestigious KIIT University, KSOM has delivered on that vision. It has extended its area of influence from Eastern India to the whole country and already has many impressive achievements to its credit. In several reputed B-school rankings in India which includes Career 360 (2010), MBA Universe (2010) – KSOM ranks in top 40. It is also the 4th best in Eastern India according to these rankings. C fore – HT ranks KSOM as 28th best in India among self-financing institutes. NAAC has rated KSOM in A grade. This is an institution that believes in making business education highly relevant through constant course updates, regular industries interaction, hands-on exposure, faculty with right mix of industry and academic experience and more importantly a deep sense of responsibility to the society at large.


KIITEE Management – 2014 is KIIT University’s own National Level Entrance Examination to be conducted across 26 cities in India. It’s a computer-based test. Based on the scores obtained in the Examination, candidates will be called for GD/PI. The exam is a common examination for two programmes offered by the KIIT Univesity; MBA at KIIT School of Management, and MBA (Rural Management) at KIIT School of Rural Management.
KSOM now invites application for its two year flagship MBA programme for the batch 2014-16. The academic calendar for the two-year MBA batch of 2014–16 commences from the first week of July, 2014 and will end by April, 2016.

 

Scholarship: This year, KSOM has instituted a scholarship programme to promote meritorious students. The scholarship amounts to 50% waiver of the tuition fees for the following categories of eligible students:

  • Top-25 students of KIITEE Management Entrance Examination
  • Candidates with 90 Percentile and above score in CAT/XAT
  • Candidates with 95 Percentile and above score in MAT

DOCTORAL PROGRAMME

PhD

 

Eligibility:

BBA:

  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10th and 12th Examinations.

MBA (Full Time):

  • Graduate in any discipline recognized by the AIU with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) with KIITEE MGT/CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/ ATMA  score. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University/ Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the University/ Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing CGPA obtained with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Those who are in their final year of graduation and awaiting their results by June, 2018 can also apply.
  • Candidates awaiting KIITEE MGT/CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/ ATMA results can apply pending publication of results. Such candidates need to send their KIITEE MGT/CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA scores within 7 days of publication of results.
  • Candidates expecting graduation results within June, 2018: Candidates in their final year degree and expecting graduation results within June, 2018 can also apply for the MBA Programme.Such applicants are required to submit along with their application form, a certificate from the Principal or Head of the Institution to the effect that the candidate is expected to complete all requirements for completion and award of the degree with in June, 2018.
  • Foreign/NRI Applicants: Foreign/NRI applicants shall follow the above procedure and submit the filled-in application form along with requisite documents mentioned above with application fee of US $50. The filled-in application form along with GMAT score card should reach KSOM on or before 31st may, 2018.

MBA (Part Time): The minimum requirements for admission to the programme are:

  • A recognized Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline;
  • At least 3 years of experience in executive capacity in an organisation of repute in the public, private or non-governmental sector. Self-employed persons with minimum of 3 years experience after obtaining qualifying degree are also eligible.
