A group of illustrious and enterprising men from Ghaziabad got together and began a most ambitious programme of philanthropy. They established Krishna Charitable Society, a nonprofit making organization, and undertook the bold venture of performing service to society through non-governmental education system. Under the aegis of this society Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology was born in the year 1997. Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology is a private engineering college imparting engineering and technical education. It is fully approved by the state and central government agencies. Library: Library of the institute has a selection of more than 1, 10,000 books of Indian and foreign author with approximately 9,000 titles. There are more than 700 journals of national & international editions including e-journal & 10000 proceedings & conference of IEEE. The library is fully air-conditioned with internet connection for accessing e-journals & other sites of interest. The library catalogue is accessible on the internet to check the availability of books on shelf. The library is fully automated with RAMLIB library management software system. Large numbers of books are available in the reference section covering a wide range of subjects. The section is augmented regularly with latest arrivals. The library is an exclusive member of DELNET, AIMA, IETE, IEI, CSI, ISTE etc. To facilitate self-study, an air-conditioned reading room with flexi-timing is provided where students can carry their own study material.

 

Hostels: KIET Group has good hostel facilities for both boys & girls. KIET Possesses 3 boys hostel & 3 girls hostel. In addition there are 2 off campus hostels for first year students. 1st year students (boys) reside outside the college campus in hostels to maintain ragging free environment of the college. It has the capacity to accommodate 325 students. The college hostels are well built & provide excellent facilities including computer corner with internet & WI-FI connection, 24 hours power backup. Recreation facilities like: TV room, billiard room, indoor games & well furnished gyms separately for boys & girls. The hostel messes are run with active cooperation & involvement of the students. Students get high quality, well balanced & nutritious vegetarian meal. KIET has students coming from various parts of the country; of which most of them belong to the states of Uttar Pradesh & New Delhi. Day scholars can avail institute buses running from various corner of Ghaziabad/Meerut.

The Corporate Relations & Placement Center is all equipped to create a pool of skilled man power guiding the students to reach their goals with perfection. KIET has well adept Corporate Relations & Placement Centre piloted by a dedicated team. This department has successfully placed the students in reputed National & Multi-National Companies like: TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Mahindra & Mahindra, Cummins, Simplex Infrastructure, Samsung India Electronics, Lohia Starlinger, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Cognizant, NIIT Technologies, etc. The zeal & enthusiasm exhibited by premier companies for getting zero day slot, speaks itself regarding the excellent quality of products churned out by this institution. KIET also runs campus commune program of TCS for Ist, IInd & IIIrd year students of School of Engineering along with campus connect program of Infosys. This department also strives continuously for bridging the gap between academia & industry accruing rich dividends for both, students & their future employers. Industries across the globe have recognized the challenges of preparing Engineering, Pharmacy & Management Graduates to become industry ready. With this objective, KIET has taken the initiative to establish an In-house Soft Skill Training Department for the overall development of their personality with the help of three In-house soft skill trainers.
