Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) has been founded by ITES. This society was founded by Mr. P.K. Jain, Mrs. Neena Verma, Mr. Anil Kumar Agrawal & Mr. Vipul Jain with the aim of providing state of art education in the field of engineering & technology. The found members of the society are highly motivated visionaries & are the brain behind the venture. With a vision to develop a world class institution, Kanpur Institute of Technology was established in 2004 by fully dedicated ambassadors of the society. The establishment of Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) & Kanpur Institute of Technology & Pharmacy (KITP) are the finest example of the ITES’S philanthropic endeavour for the social cause & turning its dreams into dynamic identity. Eligibility:

For B.Tech:

• Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 level examination or equivalent with physics, mathematics as compulsory subjects & one optional from the following subjects chemistry / Bio – Tech / computer science / Biology securing minimum 50%marks in aggregate, are eligible for admission to B. Tech. programme. The Candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the qualifying subject group.
• Duration = 4 years course

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):

• Candidates who have passed three years Engineering Diploma or B.Sc. Mathematics with minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university.
• Duration = 3 years course

For B.Pharmacy:

• Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent with physics & chemistry as compulsory subjects & one optional from the following subjects mathematics / bio – tech / computer science / biology securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate, are eligible for admission to B.Pharmacy programme.
• Duration = 4 years course

For B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry):

• Candidates who have passed 2 / 3 Year Diploma in pharmacy with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university.
• Duration = 3 years course

For M.Tech:

• 60 % marks in Graduation
• Duration = 4 Semester Course

For M.B.A.:

• For admission to 1st year of M.B.A., a candidate must have passed a bachelor's Degree (Minimum 3 year duration) from any recognized university in any discipline with 50% marks.
• Duration = 2 years course

For M.C.A.:

• For Admission to 1st year of M.C.A., a candidate must have passed 3 year degree course with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university with mathematics as one subject at 10 + 2 level or Bachelor Degree Level.
• Duration = 3 years course

For M.C.A. (Lateral Entry):

• Candidates who have passed 3 Year Degree Course in Computer Application, Computer Science & Information Technology with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.
• Duration = 2 years course

The Placement & Corporate Relations Cell (PCRC) at Kanpur institute of Technology is working untiringly to ensure 100 % placement for all its students with reputed companies. The PCRC, KIT tries to place students with their core companies of the respective discipline of education so that the skills acquired by them in the course of their study at KIT are utilized in the best possible way & their careers move along an exponential growth path.
