J.N.U Combined Biotechnology Entrance Exam for Admission to M.Sc(Biotechnology), M.Sc (Agri.), M.V.Sc (Biotechnology) & M.Tech (Biotechnology).

JNU is one of the well known reputed University of India. University is conducting combined entrance exam for admission into Biotechnology courses. Combined entrance exam will lead admission into the following courses:

Eligibility:

 

 

M.Sc Biotechnology Course:

 

 

A. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years.
B. Candidate should have scored minimum of 55% aggregate in Bachelor course to be eligible for this Master’s course.
C. Candidate should have passed his graduation from one of the Recognised University
D. To be eligible for this course candidate must have cleared his bachelor degree in one of these courses:

 

 

Physical
Biological
Agricultural
Veterinary & Fishery Sciences
Pharmacy
Engineering/Technology
4-years B.S (Physician Assistant Course)
Medicine(MBBS)
BDS

 

 

For M.Sc Agriculture and M.V.Sc Biotechnology Courses:

 

 

1. Candidate must have a Bachelor degree of minimum 3 years with atleast 55% aggregate.
2. Candidate must have cleared his Bachelor degree from one of the reputed University.
3. To be eligible for this course candiadte must have cleared his Bachelor degree from one of these courses:
Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
Agriculture
Horticulture
Forestry
Dairy Technology

 

 

4. Candidate may have M.Sc in one of these courses:

 

 

Biotechnology
Life Sciences
Botany
Zoology
Biochemistry

For M.Tech Biotechnology Program:

 

 

1. Candidate must have at least 60% aggregate in B.Tech/B.E
2. Candidate have cleared his Bachelor degree from the recognised University.

Procedure for getting the form :

 

 

In Person: Sets of Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained personally on cash payment of Rs.200/- per set from any of the participating University as shown above.

 

 

By Post:
Those willing to get the Application Form by post should send their request only to the Deputy Registrar (Admissions), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067, alongwith a Bank Draft (valid for six months) of Rs.260/-(for one set of Application Form and Prospectus). The Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of “Jawaharlal Nehru University” payable at New Delhi. The request should accompany a self-addressed unstamped envelope of the size of 28×20 cms. indicating clearly on the top of the self addressed envelope the programme for which Application Form is required, i.e., “M.Sc. Biotechnology” OR “M.Sc.(Agri.)/M.V.Sc. Biotechnology” OR “M.Tech. Biotechnology”. Please do not send your request through private courier services.
