Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli (IIMT) is the eleventh IIM and was instituted on January 4, 2011 by the Hon’ble Minister for HRD and Telecommunication, Shri Kapil Sibal, under the patronage of the Government of India and the stewardship of IIM-B. Tiruchirapalli is a prominent city for art and culture. IIMT is building its sprawling permanent campus spread over 172 acres of land on Trichy-Pudukottai highway, 12 km from Tiruchirappalli International Airport and in the interim the institute is functioning from NIT Tiruchirappalli.

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a full time, residential Doctoral Programme of Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT)

Eligibility:

For FPM: Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent to apply for IIMT’s Doctoral Programme. A Master Degree in any discipline, with at least 55% marks, with a bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification with at-least 50% marks obtained after a minimum of three years of education. Five years/four year Integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline, with at least 55% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. A professional; qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55% marks. 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree with least 55% marks or equivalent grade point average; and

Have a score of CAT or GMAT or GATE or GRE or UGC-JRF or UGC-NET

Validity of score: Two years from the date of the test and valid as on date of submission of the FPM application

Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates will be called to Tiruchirappalli for a research proposal presentation on a research topic followed by an interview. Selection will be based on the applicant’s performance in CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/UGC-JRF/UGC-NET as applicable, past academic performance, work experience, aptitude for research and performance during the research proposal presentation and the personal interview
