Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K) was set up by Govt. of Kerala in the year 2000. All the shares of the Company is held by Government of Kerala and the management of the Institute is vested in a Board of Directors comprising eminent industrialists, academicians and senior Government officials appointed by Government of Kerala.

Eligibility:

M.Sc.:

• Information Technology: B.Tech / B.E in any branch of Engineering / Technology or MCA.
• Computational Science: Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology with Mathematics as a subject.
• Geoinformatics: Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology with Mathematics and Physics as subjects of study.

M.Phil in Eco-informatics: M.Sc. in Natural Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science and Plant Science) or Physical Sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).

PGDeG: Bachelor's Degree in any subject with working knowledge in Computer Systems. Preference to B.Tech/ MBA/ MCA graduates.

A minimum score of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 in 10 points scale in the qualifying examination is required. Final semester/year students can also apply. For PGDeG, 15 % seats are reserved for Govt. employees. All Master of Science courses are accredited by Cochin University of science and technology and post graduate diploma courses by directorate of technology education, govt. of Kerala.

For M.Sc. /M.Phil. Courses, Govt. scholarships under SPEED-IT will be awarded to all students having minimum of 65% (7.0 CGPA) in the qualifying examination. SC/ST students admitted to M.Sc. IT and PGDeG are offered scholarships by Govt. of India and Govt. of Kerala respectively.
