Desh Bhagat Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (DBIHMCT) a Premier Institute under the aegis of “Desh Bhagat University” formely Desh Bhagat Group Of Institutes was Set-up in the fond memory of veteran freedom fighter, Late Sh. Lai Singh Ji, an associate of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The University is nurtured and governed by AASRA FOUNDATIONS(Regd.) under the able leadership of TheChancellor Dr. Zora Singh (M.B.B.S, D.C.H., & former President IMA, Chandigarh) and Pro-Chancellor Mrs. Tejinder Kaur with a vision to develop Desh Bhagat University as one of the most dynamic & vibrant educational University internationally. This institute of Hotel Management is a pioneer in its field in the state of Punjab Since 2003 offering 3 year Degree programme in B.Sc. HHA (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) approved by National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) Noida, and affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi. As per Competition Success Review (CSR)-2013 our Institute is ranked among the “Top Hotel Management Institute of India” & is 1st   ISO 9001:2008 certified Institute in the state. Ranked 4th among Hotel Management Institutes of Excellences in India by Global Human Resource Development Center (GHRDC)-2014.
