Eligibility:

For B.Tech: All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one the following subjects:Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology

OR

Those candidates who have passed their 10 th or 10+2 examination with science stream and have passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.

OR

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.

For M.Tech: All those candidates who have passed B.E. / B. Tech in relevant field

For MBA: All those candidate who have any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline.

For MCA: All those candidates who have passed any recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques as compulsory / Optional / additional paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2.

OR

 have passed BCA course of minimum three year duration from any recognized University.

Admission Procedure

For admission to Engineering Courses, 85 % seats shall be open to the candidates from within Punjab state 15% will be open to the candidates from outside the state. Candidate should have appeared in AIEEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi to claim seat under 85% quota for residents of Punjab. For 85% and 15% quota admission will be made on the basis of JEE rank. As per guide lines of the university the institute retains 33% of seats to be filled in by management quota for which the students must fulfill pre qualifications to obtain admission through this quota. Meritorious students can take direct admission under this quota.

Facilities:

Library: The college has a well-stocked library with more than 22000 books in various streams of Science, Engineering, Nanotech. Mgmt. & Bio-Tech. The library subscribe to regional & national newspapers, national & international periodicals & e-journals. Library sections include Reference Section, Text Book Section, Journal Section, Central Reading Hall etc in shelf system, fully AC and Digital Library.

Cultural: The college has established a cultural committee, which is having the proper focus about cultural activties. The college students have participated in many festivals and won no. of prizes.

Transport: The college maintains a fleet of buses for transportation of the students & members of the staff from distant places such as Bathinda, Faridkot, Kotkapura, Malout, Guruharsai, Gidderbaha, Jaito, Abohar & jalalabad.

Hostel: Separate hostels for Boys & Girls & Accommodation for faculty exist in the Campus. The Accommodation is Well-Finished with modern amenities. The rooms have attached baths.
