In tune with the growing global trend of extending conventional University instructional mode to online, self learning, distance education methodology, Anna University proposes the creation of the Centre for Distance Education. Through this initiative Anna University aims to impart quality technical professional education that would provide competitive edge in current global business environment. In this context, in addition to providing technical knowledge development, the courses will enable hard and soft skills development in order to meet multiple real world corporate world challenges. This requirement gains even more importance in the current scenario, with ever increasing need for professionally qualified and trained personnel in areas of Computer applications and Business Management. Keeping this in mind, the Centre has launched professional MBA, MCA and M.Sc degree programmes through the distance education mode from January 2007.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to MBA, MCA, and M.Sc (I.T) Degree Programmes of Distance Mode and M.Sc. Computer Science - Free Open Source Software (FOSS) online programme for the academic year 2013-14 Batch

Eligibility:

MBA (2 Years): Any Degree of three years of study duration and a pass in the entrance test conducted by Anna University.

M.Sc (IT) (2 Years): B.Sc. Mathematics / Computer Science / Physics / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Applied Science / Computer Technology / Applied Science - Computer Technology /Applied Science - Information Technology / Applied Science - Computer Systems Maintenance and Networking / Electronics / B.C.A. / B.E.S. or equivalent and a pass in the entrance test conducted by Anna University.

M.Sc (CS FOSS) (2 Years): A pass in B.C.A or B.Sc. in any branch of Science or Mathematics with atleast one paper in Mathematics (Or) Any Degree in Engineering. Degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern.

MCA (3 Years): Any degree of 3 years of study duration with Maths at HSC level or degree level and a pass in entrance test conducted by Anna University.
