The degree is the basic prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist in India & many countries. The academic excellence is a result of excellent infrastructure in the form of well equipped laboratories. The Institute has 14 well equipped laboratories with advanced instruments like FTIR, HPLC, UV & Visible Spectrophotometer, Brookfield Viscometer, Photometer graph etc. & various pharmaceutical machineries in machine room, Instrument lab & sophisticated Instrumentation centre. Museum & Medicinal Garden add up to the technical outlook. Library of the Institute has a collection of around 5000 selected books & 25 journals of national & 5 of International repute. The class rooms are provided with OHP, LCD & slide projector facilities. The students are exposed to lectures by invited professional dignitaries of national & international repute. The Institute also nurtures an established & effective training & placement cell. Eligibility:

For B.Pharmacy: 10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks in total for required subject combination (Physics & Chemistry compulsory + Maths / Biology / Biotechnology) & UPSEE / AIEEE qualification. (Subject to change as per MTU).

B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry in 3rd semester):

• Candidates having Diploma in Pharmacy may take direct admission in third semester. The candidate must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
• The profession of Pharmacy is focused to the health and well being of the suffering community. This professional course has diverse scopes in the employment from Community Pharmacist to Research Scientist. The Pharmacy Professionals play vital and assorted role in the treatment of the diseases of the lives. In this modern world, a continual hunt for new molecules of drugs is required to struggle against many killer ailments. The Pharmacist is the group serves for the control and prevention of those disorders. The Pharmacists are the counselors of drugs and dosage forms, who can directly participate in assistance to Physician in the community service.
• The other service scopes of these professionals are Formulation, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Drug Isolation from Natural Sources and Novel Drug Discovery by Synthetic Chemical Reactions, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Detailing, Pharmacokinetic, and Pharmacodynamic appraisal of drugs, Clinical Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy & Teaching.
