Currently the institute offers Diploma Programmes in 4 disciplines with total annual intake of 300 students. The premises of this institute are spread over an area of 20 acres of land on Wardha - Arvi road. Its distance from the main railway station & Bus stand is 5 Kms. (Wardha is 79 Kms. From Nagpur). To upgrade the quality & efficiency of this Polytechnic, a financial assistance has been provided by the World Bank through SPIU of the Directorate of Technical Education, MS Mumbai. Institute also runs Community Polytechnic, Industry Institute Partnership Cell & Entrepreneurship Development Cell. The institute has got MODROBS projects sanctioned by AICTE New Delhi.
